Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a nose filler treatment with hyaluronic acid to soften a dorsal hump, lift a droopy tip and correct small asymmetries, without surgery. For the injection, I use a cannula and hyaluronic acid, which is a gel, adding volume only where it is lacking, mainly on the dorsum and the tip. When there is a prominent dorsal hump and the tip points downward, this fine adjustment aligns the profile and gives definition to the shape, without surgery.

After non-surgical rhinoplasty, swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary asymmetry may occur. The nose is an area of higher vascular risk, because the vessels that supply the skin of the nose are superficial and some connect with the circulation around the eyes. Vascular complications are rare, but they require immediate recognition and treatment. That is why anatomical knowledge and injection by a physician matter so much. When necessary, hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Results vary, and the indication is only defined after the evaluation.

The recommendation is to postpone it. There is no safety data on cosmetic fillers during pregnancy, so injectable cosmetic procedures are not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Pregnancy and breastfeeding should always be disclosed to the physician before any procedure.
