How I do it
LHA La Peel is my patients' favorite. It is a Korean chemical peel that doesn't cause flaking and doesn't have the recovery time of traditional peels. It gives the skin that glow Koreans call glass skin, which I like to call porcelain skin. You walk out of the office ready to go.
The application takes about half an hour and can be done on the same day as, or the day before, an important commitment. There is no downtime: you go straight back to your routine. The effects are cumulative, and I recommend coming back at least once a month to renew them.
LHA La Peel is usually part of a broader skin protocol. Depending on your skin, I may combine it with other chemical peels and PDRN, a regenerative substance used for renewal and luminosity. When the skin under the eyes looks crepey when you smile, I use an injectable biostimulator specific to that area, which improves radiance from the inside out.
What can happen
LHA La Peel is a gentle procedure, but it can cause mild redness, stinging or temporary sensitivity. For sensitive skin, skin prone to dark spots or skin with an active lesion, the indication and preparation are defined at the consultation. Results vary from person to person, and daily sunscreen is part of the care after any peel.
